Low-Ride-A

The other day we were at Lindsay's house and Kaitlyn wanted to show us her new toy she got for being such a big girl and giving up her binky. We were like, "Cool, Kaitlyn..." whatever. Then Lindsay was telling us how fun it was that we should give it a try. I was thinking "how could a little 3 year old's toy be fun?" but it was actually really cool! It's called a PlasmaRide. I don't really know why it's called that but it doesn't really matter. It sits low to the ground and you don't have to pedal cuz you just move the handles back and forth and it moves! A little while later, we were all fighting for the next turn...

You think me plus two kids is impressive...

how about me with three kids?!!!

California Adventure after dark...

Last Friday night when Ryan got home from work we decided to head on over to California Adventure (Disneyland is still kinda crowded from all the Spring Breakers and Cal Adventure is always less crowded.) I know I've mentioned it before but I love living so close to Disneyland. I really didn't think I would. In fact I always made fun of my family that would go there all the time but I'm totally addicted now. Espescially the older Ella gets! I'm really gonna miss it when we move to Oklahoma...

Triple trouble!

So as I mentioned in my last post, we got to have my neice and nephew over for a few days while Lindsay and Mike went on a little vacation with Mike's work. On Tuesday afternoon, we met up with my mom at the Irvine Spectrum just to have dinner and go on a little carosel ride. Little did we know what fun would be in store for us there. They have a couple of water fountains and stuff and the kids were drawn to the water like little moths to a flame! At least Ella was. Carson and Kaitlyn were a little more hesitant...at first. Before we knew it, they were soaked!

If you ever find yourself pushing a stroller that's super heavy...just call on Mr. Carson to come to the rescue. He really was totally pushing the monster double stroller (my mom was just steering.) He's such a hard worker!

(I can only post 4 pictures at a time with Picasa for some reason so I have to do 2 posts...)

Anyway, after the kids were done playing in the water, we thought we shouldn't keep them in their wet clothes so we stopped by Old Navy. Luckily they had some cute pajamas on sale.

Back home all dry and cozy enjoying a little Baby Einstein on the bed. What could be better?

The next morning Kaitlyn said she wanted to hold Carson on the couch like a baby...does it count if the baby weighs almost as much as she does?

This was when we stopped by the mall and they had all these little rides that you can ride for a quarter. Anyway, Kaitlyn rode a few rides so I thought to be fair, we should let the Carson and Ella take a turn. They rode this little simulator thing that was like a rollercoaster. Needless to say...it was not the highlight of their day.

Trippin' in Utah

Last Wednesday night we flew up to Utah to spend a long weekend with Ryan's family. We hadn't been up there since Thanksgiving so it was really fun to be with everyone again. Ryan's sister, Debbie, and her family even were able to come out from Seattle so all 21 of us were able to be together!

This is our little nephew, Sammy, who is probably the best 5 year old Guitar Hero player in the nation!

One night we all went out to The Pie for some yummy pizza. It's a good thing that The Pie is already a noisy place cuz we are not a quiet group! (Why am I the only one looking at the camera?)

Ella LOVES to watch all her crazy cousins. It's so funny to watch her cuz I really think she thinks she's just as big as they are. She totally tried to keep up with all of them. They're so cute and careful with her.

Ella and her cousin Claire had matching pajamas so of course we had to snap a picture!

On Friday night, Ryan's parents kindly watched the grandkids so all the "big kids" could go have some fun at the bowling alley. And fun we had!

I know, I know...all the ladies out there look at this next picture and have two questions..."Who is this guy?" and "Where did he get those sexy shoes?" This is Scott, Ryan's brother. He has made a couple of appearances on this blog for various reasons but this time he is modeling the shoes that helped win him the game. I must say that his sister, Cindy, did give him a run for his money and nearly had him beat but that little Scotty got in her head and pulled out the W.

Ella-Bella Bellie-bean!

I know, I've been slacking with the blogging thing lately, but I have good excuses. We went up to Utah for a long weekend last week and then the next day my sister dropped her kids off so her and Mike could go on a little get away that Mike got with his work because "he's tops" (whatever that means.) Anyway, I'm back to make up for some lost time...
Here's just a few shots of our cutie little girl.

This last one was taken at the little Princess show they have at Disneyland. It's so cute cuz these princesses come out and teach all these little princesses (and a few princes) how to twirl and some other cute little dances. But I wanted to show it to the world that the day that I've been awaiting since the ultrasound that told me I was having a daughter has arrived! I can finally put pigtails in Ella's hair!!! It's like 5 strands of hair in each pigtail but it still counts!!!

Easter

I know Easter was quite a while ago but because the computer was down and out for a while, I have to play a little catch up. This year I think Easter came up a little early for all of us. I don't have a picture of Ella's official "Easter dress" that she wore to church but we all got together over at my aunt's house for a lovely Easter dinner and a little egg hunting.

Ella, Kaitlyn and Carson (nevermind the headless man in the green shirt in the background...)

Ella didn't really get the whole "hunting for plastic eggs" thing so luckily my cousin Laney stepped up to help her get some treats.

Ella with all her loot.

p.s. Ella somehow overdosed on all that sugar that everyone kept giving her on Easter because the day after Easter she went through total detox! It was horrible. She had a melt down like everyone ten minutes. She knew her Easter basket was somewhere in our little apartment and she was doing all she could to find it. I think we might have a bit of an addict on our hands!

We're back in business!

This post is to say a big thanks to my girl Tristen. I am now using Picasa to add pictures which not only works on my computer, but is way faster! Thanks Tristen! (Ryan and Ella thank you as well since they don't have to listen to me yell and scream at the computer...)

Rambles

So we still haven't figured out why I can't add pictures...so in the meantime ya'll just get to listen to me ramble on and on (feel free to skip this blog an head on to another friend's as I'm sure I won't have anything insightful to share.)
Last night my lovely sister graciously took our Ella into her home so Ryan and I could go to the temple. One of the best things about living close to family is the babysitting that is included with that. We couldn't get into a session before 8:00 (the Newport Beach temple is a "mini temple" so we have to make appointments) so we dropped Ella off and had a nice dinner together without a squeeling 1-yr-old in the high chair next to us. Linds offered to just have Ella spend the night since we didn't get out of the temple until 10 and when we talked this morning about when I should come get her she said I should just have an "Angela Day" and do whatever I wanted and my mom would bring Ella home when she came up tonight (my mom's spending Conference weekend with us since her husband is up in San Francisco with his parents.) I was like, "No, I can come get her!" but luckily Lindsay talked me into it. I know, what was I thinking? Why should Lindsay have to TALK ME INTO a day all to myself! So I started thinking about all the stuff I could do. I still have a little birthday money burning a hole in my pocket...I could go the mall. It's warm outside...I could lay by the pool. And what did I decide???...SPRING CLEANING! It's amazing how busy I was ALL DAY just cleaning my house! I mean, I think I'm a pretty clean person (not obsessively clean...it's not like I have any Jergensen blood in me:) )but you know, I try to maintain a clean home. Well today was all about the THOROUGH cleaning. It was so nice to have no interuptions and just be on my own schedule. When I was talking with Lindsay about how much I was getting done I was like, "Why haven't we done this before?" It seems like we babysit for each other when we have stuff going on.
Alright, that's all for now. I know, kinda boring without any pictures of my little girl...but what do you do?

I don't get it

What the heck? Something is wrong with my blog. I've been trying for the past few days to do a new post (I'll admit that I haven't been the best blogger) but for some reason this page won't let me add pictures or change the font or anything!!! It's so frustrating! If someone out there knows how to like "reboot" my blog or something, I would love some advice.
