It's time to load up the truck and head back out to the Midwest! Ryan got a call yesterday from the director of the Periodontic program in Oklahoma City where he interviewed last week offering him a resident position. It's kind of a long story but without going into all the boring details, we are really excited about this opportunity and new chapter in our lives.
Don't get me wrong, this is going to be a very hard move to make. We have LOVED living here and being so close to family and all the fun things here in Southern California, however I am so proud of Ryan for being so dedicated and hard-working in planning for his career and providing for our family.

It hard to say how I am feeling... congrats to Ryan and your family. I am so happy he found a residency position, but I am so sad to see you guys leave. It has been so great getting to know you. You will be missed. Now who is going to be my VT partner???
Congrats!!! That's going to be a huge move and big adjustment but it's only for a few short years. Way to go Ryan!!! Talk with ya soon.
So happy for you guys (sniffle sniffle)- I just need to get some kind of committment from Ryan though that you will all be back where you belong!! :) Love you guys!!! (I'll try not to cry too much)

This will be so good for you guys, plus, I have heard specializing opens a whole new window of opportunities, especially as far as going to practice wherever you want. We don't have that luxury with out taking some huge risks. We're headed to Wisconsin to do a general residency.
I have a friend here in Village Green who just moved from Oklahoma City. She LOVED it! I bet you guys will to!

Hurray for Periodontists!!!! I hope I spelled that right. Angela, we almost went there and I am sure you will love it because we have some neighbors that moved into where the Marchant's lived and they actually lived there in a town called Edmund. They said it was SOOOO Fun and safe and had great shopping (an added bonus). Congrats Ryan!!
I am so sad! We will probably never get that chance to go to Disneyland! Way exciting though, you guys are that much closer to being done with school! Yay!

Ang- I am so Sad for you and your sister...but it will be an adventure and there is obviously some reason that you are going to Oklahoma City...you just won't know it for a couple more years!!! Georgia is an adventure, but we LOVE it...and hopefully we will make it back to CA too!!! I will call you tomorrow!!

Congrats on the move. I was talking to Linds this past weekend about your move. It will be great for you guys, but so sad for your kids to leave eachother. Luckily it's not forever.
