Every year at this time, the scouts around here put on a little Storybook Forrest where you walk along a little trail in the forrest and along the way there are scenes from different fairy tales. We went last year with the Richins so we decided to keep the tradition alive and go again this year!
Even Sadie got to do some trick-or-treating! (I should say that she HAD to do some trick-or-treating. They made us pay $7 for all 4 months of her!!! So you know I was going to make each station give her some candy.)
They didn't have that cute scout from last year by the sword in the stone. (The boy that was WAY into his job and was shouting "Come one! Come all to test your strength!") Kind of a bummer but Ella still tried to pull the sword from the stone!
I don't really know what story this is from but there was a lady in this pumpkin and Ella went up to the little window and wanted to have a conversation with her. The lady was just looking around for the parents to come take their "talkative" girl away. :)
On the hay ride...

HOw fun!! I am wanted to take the kids over there-doesn't look like it was to crowded-
Saders is definately puttin on the lb's!! I LOVE it!! Welcome to the fam Sadie (we still don't know where thin little Ella came from...) (especially when you consider her mother was anything but thin when she was a little babe)...
Oh they are so cute. I love when you post Ang! Makes my day. Did you get my pkg? Baby girl looks too chunks for the outfit I got. Those cheeks are the greatest. I would die to hear little Ella talk away. When can I??? Anytime soon?
Love you
hey! I am just finally gettin' over here to the Harbertson blog! So cute.
Sounds like a fun experience for Ella and the fam. I love your family pic at the end, you all look so good!!! Sadie keeps growing cuter and cuter with every picture I see of her. We sure do miss you guys.
Ryan,
You need to just admit that you have dreamed of visiting "Storybook Forrest" since you first heard about it as a lad. Stop making it sound like you were just doing your kids a favor.
